Message of Hope

A message from Vice Principal of Holy Childhood High School

I am married (25 years) with two beautiful daughters.

I am into my 24th year as a member of staff at HCHS, 10 of those as Vice Principal for the Upper School (grades 10-13). I am also responsible for Staff Affairs and liaise with the Ministry of Education re: staffing etc.

I have watched our school change in terms of student population and quality; some amount of infrastructural deterioration largely because of inadequate funds and class size up to 55 in some instances. Many of our parents cannot and some just do not, pay the required fees, and government subsidy is always inadequate. We WANT to maintain the school as we know we should, but we really and truly can't, and everyday I am there, I am reminded of what it was compared to what it is now and it is a painful reminder.

This opportunity to help to regain even a tiny part of that wonderful memory is to be applauded and even more importantly, to be a part of the effort, is to show that we care because without HCHS we would not be where we are today and that is indisputable.

Let's join our hands and hearts together and open our pocketbooks wide to help this worthy cause while forging and keeping (this time) old time relationships.

I would truly love to hear from everyone so feel free to drop me a line.
